Ari Aramesh is an accomplished trial attorney, national security expert, and media commentator. He brings a dynamic blend of elite law firm training, deep academic rigor, and hands-on litigation experience across a wide range of complex legal matters.
Mr. Aramesh’s legal practice centers on complex business litigation, constitutional and civil rights cases, and defamation and harassment suits.
Before founding Aramesh Law, Mr. Aramesh practiced at Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan, LLP, and Yetter Coleman, LLP, where he litigated high-value commercial, corporate, and pro bono civil rights cases. He has worked on behalf of global energy firms, major U.S. airlines, cannabis conglomerates, and technology companies. His practice has taken him from U.S. District Courts to arbitration before the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre.
Mr. Aramesh earned his Doctor of Jurisprudence from Stanford Law School, where he served as a teaching assistant to former U.S. Secretary of Defense William J. Perry and former Los Alamos National Laboratory Director Sig Hecker. He also supported courses taught by terrorism and international security scholars Dr. Amy Zegart, Dr. Martha Crenshaw, and Professor Condoleezza Rice, having been selected for her elite seminar on U.S. foreign policy. Mr. Aramesh also holds a Master’s in Comparative Politics – Conflict Studies from the London School of Economics, and dual B.A. degrees in Political Science and Middle Eastern Studies from the University of California, Berkeley.
Mr. Aramesh is also a seasoned national security and legal commentator, appearing regularly on CNN, Fox News, BBC, MSNBC, Al Jazeera English, Fox Business, and other major global networks. He has authored essays and commentary for The New York Times (International Herald Tribune), The Huffington Post, Stanford Lawyer Magazine, The Diplomatic Courier, Al-Majalla, and more.
He is admitted to the State Bars of California, Texas, and the District of Columbia, and practices in multiple U.S. District Courts and Courts of Appeal, including the 4th, 5th, 8th, and 11th Circuits.
